If you're looking for the best things to do in New York City, the Bronx must be on your list. Most New Yorkers know the city's most famous neighborhoods, including Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island. It is perhaps best known as home to the Bronx Zoo and Yankee Stadium, and also houses some of the best restaurants, bars, shops, restaurants and hotels, as well as a number of museums and galleries.

Unfortunately, New Yorkers looking for a great hotel or good food miss out on Bronx in their general itinerary.
In 1874, the cities west of the Bronx became part of New York City, and the land east of it was annexed in 1898. The Bronx Zoo, a major institution founded in 1900, is home to the largest zoo in the United States and the largest natural history museum in the world.

The Bronx has its own beach, as it is the only New York borough that is mainland, so drinking here is like everything else on City Island. Although the Bronx is connected to mainland America by the borough, the small island is only accessible via a bridge that blends into the larger Bronx on the edge of Pelham Park.
Although there is not a long list of luxury hotels in the Bronx, there are still many upscale options. North of this, Hyatt Place New York Yonkers offers comfortable beds and amenities including a pool, spa and fitness center, and even a spa and fitness center. The Bronx also offers a good portion of restaurants, such as the Park Slope Grill at the corner of Park Avenue and Park Street, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants along the route.
