Bronx New York Events
New York City is the place to see and do everything, including some of the most famous and recurring events in the world. In the past, there have been quiz-oriented food fights, bagel-making at Black Seed Bagels, and even a trip to the New York Stock Exchange. In the past years, this has been an experience, but this is your chance to experience everything in one place, in the heart of a city, at one time, in one day.
Participants include students from Fordham University, the University of New York and other universities in the Bronx. FordHAM University has one of the largest and most diverse student housing programs in North America, housed in a 1,000 square foot ground floor building. Located on the corner of West 42nd Street and West 44th Street in Manhattan, it is home to the university's College of Arts and Sciences.
This historic building was built in 1854 as the Villard Houses by the famous architects McKim, Mead & White and is now home to the Fordham University Lotting Company and New York University School of Law. You can also recognize it as a milestone in the history of the Bronx as one of the oldest public housing buildings in America.
The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is located on the corner of West 57th Street and St. Mary's Avenue in the Bronx. The arsenal of Kingsbridge, located on the east side of the Hudson River, north of Manhattan and next to the Brooklyn Bridge. This mansion and museum is located south of New York's Central Park West. In St. Mary Park and near the entrance is the Museum of Natural History, a museum of art, history and culture in Manhattan.
The Bronx Doc Film Center is located on the corner of West 57th Street and St. Mary's Avenue in the Bronx. The Bronx Art Space, located on the east side of the Hudson River, north of Manhattan and next to the Brooklyn Bridge. High Bridge, located on West 59th Avenue south of Central Park West in New York City. Bronx Museum, West 60th Street and West 61st Street, east of CentralPark West in New Jersey.
La Villette in the Bronx has become a very trendy neighborhood, home to artists and families, and was long considered a dangerous neighborhood, but it has become one of the liveliest neighborhoods in New York City.
This Bronx farmers market is sponsored by the Bronx Growers Association and the New York State Farm Bureau. Hundreds of merchants have opened their shops and offer a wide range of products, fruits, vegetables, meat and other products.
